The stone trim at the top is beautiful and I love the fact that the "dress" is longer than most. It really covers your rear and thighs. The top is padded but no underwire. And it also has attached bottoms. I buy 1-2 swimdresses every year from Newport News and/or Spiegel. The quality is wonderful & their swimdresses are soo cute & stylish! This suit took 4 weeks to get to me while everything else in my order arrived in half the time or less. I might understand if it was a free shipping item, but I had to pay $[...]. When I finally recived it and tried it on I was very dissapointed, while fitting well in the butt and hips it was much to short for my torso. It only reached to just under my boobs and all the tugging in the world would not bring it up. I am 5'4" and by no measure have a long torso or oversized breasts so I did not expect to have any problem with the fit of this suit. The only thing that I was not disapointed in was the speediness that my credit card was refunded, less shipping of course.

My advice? Buy a size up but don't be supprised if you are dissapointed.

I bought this swimsuit at the beginning of the summer for my son's mommy and me swimming class. It is a comfortable suit and I was happy with it for about 6 classes then it started to wear. The brown eleastic is coming through above the bust at the top of the suit and above the butt in the back. I assume this is a manufacturing defect since it has not been worn much however, Newport News does not take exchanges from Amazon purchases. if you plan on buying this suit, beware. Buy it directly from the Newport News site and not amazon in case the defect is more wide spread.

I bought this suit because it just looked like fun -- the one-shoulder style is very interesting and asymmetrical. It's even lovelier in person, and I can't wait to spend the summer in it. The fabric quality is decent, not sturdy enough to handle competitive swimming but likely fine for any use the style permits. Certainly worth $20.

Shipping from this company can be temperamental, but I had no problems with this order. Everything arrived three days before their estimated shipping date. Overall an excellent product!

After reading the good reviews and never purchasing a swim dress before, I decided to give this a try. I ordered the brown, which was about the only color left in my size. I received the suit, and when I tried it on it was absolutely ugly, unflattering, and I would NEVER wear this out of the house. I have looked at several others but am now afraid to purchase since this looked good in the pic and was a disaster on me. This suit makes me look 7 months pregnant, and hangs all wrong in the front and back. I am small and wear a size 8. I can't imagine anyone larger wearing this suit. I guess I will stick with bikinis until I find a swimdress that I look good in. There must be one, even if it isn't from Spiegel, which I loathe, or Newport News.

I am neither thrilled or dissappointed with this cover-up. The hips are cut a bit wider than my own, so it doesn't look right on me. But it's just a cover-up, so I guess it isn't a huge deal. I do like the slits up the side, it gives a pretty touch to it. I'd love it if they gave you a new body with the dress so you look like the model when you wear it!

I just received this swimsuit today and it is really cute! I've been looking for a cute, fun, youthful one-piece swimsuit for at least a year and this is it. It's true to size but beware if you're smaller in the chest area. I'm 5'4", 127 lbs, and I ordered a size 4 and it fits perfectly. However, because I am an A/small B-cup I won't be wearing this without the strap to keep it up. I highly recommend this suit!

The suit is very cute, but two things bothered me.

1. The color is not at all like what is pictured. The actual lilac color is VERY purple and bright, not the soft purple that is shown on the model.

2. The product runs a bit small. It was difficult for me to squeeze into it because it wasn't as stretchy as I thought, but it did provide for some body shaping.

All in all, it is adorable though.
